Afternoon Experience: Today you will be at the Loft Kitchen's with Jena. Loft Kitchens. Loft Kitchen is a multi-service space which provides essential services to vulnerable children, youth, and adults. During this afternoon experience you will be undertaking neighbourhood surveys, gardening, handing out flyers, and assisting with kitchen prep. Please bring extra clothes and/or wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

Theme: Our theme today is LISTENING. Ask Jesus to help you to LISTEN to people the way HE LISTENS to you….with patience and understanding. Seek to really hear the needs of the people you come in contact with today.

Pray as a group that God would use your group to show His love and kindness to the people you meet today. Some may be believers, others might not, but don’t be afraid to engage people in conversation as you serve alongside each other.

Please make sure to bring your water bottles and proper footwear for your walk today. Have a great afternoon, and don’t forget to get together and debrief after your time at Loft Kitchen.

Afternoon Experience: Today you will be with Enoch at the People's House. The Peoples House is a ministry of the Peoples Church in Toronto, and was created in a response of the question of how they as a church could best respond to the refugee crisis that is facing our country and our world.

Theme: Our theme today is LISTENING. Ask Jesus to help you to LISTEN to people the way HE LISTENS to you….with patience and understanding. Seek to really hear the needs of the people you come in contact with today.

Afternoon Experience: Today you are going to be sharing the Gospel with people at Colonel Danforth Park. Located in the east end of Scarborough, Colonel Danforth Park is in the heart of the Rouge Valley and is a gathering place for many families, park goers, and people enjoying time out in nature. It will be great for striking up a conversation and sharing the love of Christ with a diverse crowd of many different backgrounds.

Theme: Our theme today is SHARING. Sharing our faith means first sharing our lives and investing in the lives of others too; authentically caring for them. Ask Jesus to give you wisdom and courage today as you SHARE and interact with others. Pray that God would prepare the way for you to have real conversations about faith with people who you meet today. Sometimes we share through your actions, like earlier in the week, today you may have the chance to share your story of faith and the truth of the GOSPEL with people…take every opportunity!

Pray as a group that God would use your group to speak truth and life into the people you meet today. Some may be believers, others might not, but don’t be afraid to engage people in conversation. It might be as simple as asking someone how you can pray for them!
