Where is Toronto REMIX being hosted this year?

Toronto REMIX will be running out of CENTENNIAL RESIDENCE. When you arrive, your youth group orientation will take place in the lobby of the Residence building: CENNTENNIAL COLLEGE RESIDENCE 941 Progress Ave, Scarborough, ON M1G 3T8
Do I need to put down a deposit?

A non-refundable deposit of $500/group is required to secure your registration. The remainder of your costs are due by May 17, 2024. Deposits can be made by cheque or e-transfer. Mail your non-refundable deposit cheque of $500/ youth group payable to: YOUTH UNLIMITED 95 JONESVILLE CRESCENT TORONTO, ONTARIO M4A1H2 *INDICATE IN THE MEMO LINE THAT IT IS FOR TORONTO REMIX OR E-transfer your non-refundable deposit of $500/ youth group payable to: finance@yugta.ca *INDICATE IN THE MEMO LINE THAT IT IS FOR TORONTO REMIX This deposit is for REMIX only. You will need to secure your room accommodations for Seneca College separately with the REMIX team.
What is the cancellation policy?

The deposit is non-refundable.
REMIX Online - How do I access the training videos?

Currently, our focus is on our in-person REMIX. If you are interested in an on-line REMIX, please email torontoremix@gmail.com to inquire about a possible online REMIX this summer.

This is for our online REMIX only.
The cost for rooms at Centennial College Residence

The approximate cost for suites is $199/night + taxes (about $100/person/night if there are 2 in a suite or about $50/person/night if there are 4 in a suite). Groups choosing to stay at Centennial Residence will stay in a 4 bedroom + 2 bathroom suite. Groups are required to pay for a full suite regardless of a number of participants. Suites are not co-ed and rooms, in each suite, are determined by group leaders. Volunteers/adults must have their own room (not sharing with a minor).
What about Transportation?

REMIX does NOT provide transportation for your group at REMIX. Your group will need to provide transportation while at REMIX. Each afternoon your group will be engaged in ministry experiences throughout Toronto in which your own vehicle will be required. Groups will also need to accommodate for parking costs around the city depending on their ministry location. PARKING @ Centennial College is extra.
What do I need to bring to REMIX? (Is there a packing list?)

The weather is likely to be quite warm, with a chance of rain and cooler temperatures at night. It can also be cool inside when the air conditioning is high. Bring layers! Some things are supplied in your room, and you DO need to bring: bedding and towels Pack: Clothes o T-shirts o Shorts o Some long sleeves and pants o Underclothes and socks o Work clothes (things that can get dirty; gardening or painting for example) o Light jacket/raincoat o Pajamas Please also remember that we want to honour and respect each other during the week of REMIX, and part of this means being aware of how we dress. Please consider modesty as you pack! If you’re unsure, you can ask your youth leader. Shoes o Closed toed shoes for serving in the afternoons (running shoes are fine, no sandals) o Sandals for free time Personal o Toiletries (soap, shampoo, deodorant, etc.) o Toothbrush and toothpaste o Bible o Pen o Water Bottle o Hat o Sunscreen o Spending money Paperwork o OHIP card (Health card) o Health Insurance/Passport if out of Country
