Parkdale has the densest and largest population of Tibetans outside of Asia. You will be listening and praying specifically for the unreached groups during your walk with Kyla. Theme: Our theme today is SEEING others the way God sees them. As you learn about those who may feel the effects of marginalization and be looked down upon by others, ask Jesus to help you SEE others the way HE SEES them…as dearly loved and valued! Pray as a group that God would use you to show His love and kindness to the people you come in contact with today. Some may be believers, others may not, but don’t be afraid to engage people in conversation. Please make sure to bring your water bottles and proper footwear for your walk today. But Adam's House is so much more than just a shelter or services that they provide. Adam House is a home. Where refugee claimants can find hope for their future and celebrate their success. During this afternoon experience you will be painting so please bring extra clothes and/or wear clothes you don't mind having paint on. Theme: Our theme today is LISTENING. Ask Jesus to help you to LISTEN to people the way HE LISTENS to you….with patience and understanding. Seek to really hear the needs of the people you come in contact with today.
