  • Where is Toronto REMIX being hosted this year?
    Toronto REMIX will be running out of CENTENNIAL PLACE RESIDENCE. When you arrive, your youth group orientation will take place in the lobby of the Residence building: Centennial Place 937 Progress Ave Scarborough, ON M1G 3T8
  • Do I need to put down a deposit?
    A non-refundable deposit of $500/group is required to secure your registration. The remainder of your costs are due by May 31, 2024. Deposits can be made by cheque or e-transfer. Send e-transfers to torontoremix@gmail.com. Mail cheques (payable to) Toronto REMIX 1572 Otonabee Drive Pickering, Ontario L1V6T6 This deposit is for REMIX only. You will need to secure your room accommodations for Centennial College separately with the REMIX team.
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    The deposit is non-refundable. However, if COVID restrictions prohibit an in-person REMIX, we will reimburse 100% of the deposit and group fees. Please note that Centennial Place Residence has a different refund policy for accommodations. Make sure you refer to their policy regarding accommodations.
  • REMIX Online - How do I access the training videos?
    Currently, our focus is on our in-person REMIX. If you are interested in an on-line REMIX, please email Calvin at crussell@yugta.ca to inquire about a possible online REMIX this summer.
  • REMIX Online - How do students log in to access content?
    This is for our online REMIX only.
  • The cost for rooms at Centennial Place Residence
    The Residence will be making rooms available until June 1. The cost is $200 (+tax) per suite. For the option of safety and distancing, groups can decide to book suites according to their comfort level. The suites have 4 bedrooms with double beds and 2 washrooms. Because of varying challenges related to COVID, groups must book rooms with Calvin by sending an email to crussell@yugta.ca. The suites give groups the option of putting up to 2 people in a room (i.e., 2 girls or 2 guys) like in previous years or booking suites to have 1 person per room. Suites are not co-ed and rooms, in each suite, are determined by group leaders. Volunteers/adults must have their own room (not sharing with a minor).
  • What about Transportation?
    REMIX does NOT provide transportation for your group at REMIX. Your group will need to provide transportation while at REMIX. Each afternoon your group will be engaged in ministry experiences throughout Toronto in which a vehicle will be required. PARKING @ Centennial Place has a $10/day charge/vehicle with in and out privileges.
