Afternoon Experience Instructions: Today you will be at Toronto Alliance House with Nicky. Toronto Alliance House is located in the heart of Toronto following Jesus, loving the city and serving the world. At Alliance House your group will be preparing sandwiches to donate to Toronto Alliance Church.

Theme: Our theme today is SEEING others the way God sees them. As you learn about those who may feel the effects of marginalization and be looked down upon by others, ask Jesus to help you SEE others the way HE SEES them…as dearly loved and valued!

Pray as a group that God would use you to show His love and kindness to the people you come in contact with today. Some may be believers, others may not, but don’t be afraid to engage people in conversation.

Please make sure to bring your water bottles and proper footwear for your walk today. Have a great afternoon, and don’t forget to get together and debrief after your time with Nicky.

Afternoon Experience: THIS AFTERNOON EXPERIENCE WILL START AT 2PM! Today you will be at Extendicare out in Lawrence Avenue East Toronto with Eric. Extendicare has been helping people live better through a commitment to quality care and service that includes skilled nursing care, home health care, retirement living and management consulting services for over 50 years. Their vision is to be the best senior care and services company in Canada. If you have any talents, be prepared to potentially share any songs, dances, or skits with the group.

Theme: Our theme today is LISTENING. Ask Jesus to help you to LISTEN to people the way HE LISTENS to you….with patience and understanding. Seek to really hear the needs of the people you come in contact with today.

Pray as a group that God would use your group to show His love and kindness to the people you meet today. Some may be believers, others might not, but don’t be afraid to engage people in conversation as you serve alongside each other.

Afternoon Experience: Today you are going to be sharing the Gospel with people at either Edwards Gardens or Shops at Don Mills. At Edwards Gardens, you'll interact with people relaxing or enjoying a leisurely stroll among stunning themed gardens, water features and flowers in full bloom. At Shops at Don Mills, you'll interact with people going out for a stroll in the nice weather of an outdoor mall. Strike up a conversation and share the love of Christ today!

Theme: Our theme today is SHARING. Sharing our faith means first sharing our lives and investing in the lives of others too; authentically caring for them. Ask Jesus to give you wisdom and courage today as you SHARE and interact with others. Pray that God would prepare the way for you to have real conversations about faith with people who you meet today. Sometimes we share through your actions, like earlier in the week, today you may have the chance to share your story of faith and the truth of the GOSPEL with people…take every opportunity!

Pray as a group that God would use your group to speak truth and life into the people you meet today. Some may be believers, others might not, but don’t be afraid to engage people in conversation. It might be as simple as asking someone how you can pray for them!
